Marcelo Tibau  holds a PhD in Applied Informatics from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil, earned in March 2024. He received an MSc in Informatics from the same institution in 2019. With professional expertise in Data Science, he specializes in extracting insights from data to optimize processes and perform statistical modeling. His work in Artificial Intelligence focuses on Artificial Neural Networks, Generative AI, and knowledge representation. Marcelo's research interests include Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. He has authored numerous papers presented at prestigious conferences such as the ACM Conference on Hypertext and Social Media, IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies, and The Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. His research has also been published in Library & Information Science Research.
