Edge of Reality | Discussion
On May 21st the community reading circle discussed "The Edge of Reality". It was a great discussion. I thank our host, guests and members!
I mentioned that there was a comment made by J. Allen Hyneck that could easily have been said today. Not much has changed since the book was published in 1975. Here's the quote:
"Suppose we had the technology and had had it for twenty-five years with the right-angle turns, the rapid takeoffs -- all the things that are reported -- we would not be sending astronauts to the moon and using outmoded chemical fuels."
Looking forward to meeting up with everyone in June.
