Field Investigations, Statistical Studies and the work of GEIPAN: the UFO Research of Dr Jean-Pierre Rospars
This month-long seminar functions as a retrospective of Dr Jean-Pierre Rospars career studying the various aspects of UFOs (now, UAP). Dr Rospars will recount the eventful history of GEIPAN, France's longstanding UAP investigation and research unit within CNES (the equivalent of NASA), and review the studies he carried out as part of GEIPAN’s research efforts.
Politics & UAP
A series of seminars devoted to the vexatious question of how politics and UAP are (and have been) intertwined. Special focus will be on the current political engagement with UAP in both the U.S. Congress and the U.S. defense and intelligence establishment.
A Question of Paradigms?
It is sometimes remarked that the persistence of the stigma and taboo against the scientific study of UAP is due to their anomalous characteristics, suggesting the need for a paradigm shift. This seminar takes up the question in greater depth.
