About the event
Samantha MacBride, Ph.D., of the Baruch School of Public and International Affairs, joins the Society for a colloquium on UAP, Ecological Messages, and Dominant Social Identities in Western Accounts.
Dr. MacBride is a scholar-practitioner whose work bridges environmental sociology and public policy. She earned her B.A. in Biology from Johns Hopkins University, an M.P.A. in Policy from New York University, and a Ph.D. in Urban and Environmental Sociology from New York University. A “pracademic” by training and experience, she has spent the majority of her professional career in the municipal public sector, specializing in waste and wastewater systems. She currently teaches at the Baruch College School of Public and International Affairs, where her work integrates environmental governance, infrastructure, and social systems.
