The Society's AURA initiative - research projects created and enacted by researchers in our community, funded and guided to successful completion to by our unique research project lifecycle management system, AURA - doesn't end with the last step in the project management lifecycle that is its essence. Rather, the end of AURA is the beginning of UPWARD: the institution-level conceptual integration project. UPWARD affords researchers further opportunities to develop high-level knowledge, pushing our understanding of UAP as encounter, experience and empirical object to even higher levels.

Existential Empiricism - A Spinozist Framework
Itself a synthesis of the philosophies of Spinoza, Nietzsche, James and more contemporary proponents of neutral monism, this framework proposes a comprehensive system for the description, explanation and understanding of mind-matter relations sufficiently rich enough to be able to encompass what we might call the 'excessive remainder' - cases where mind-matter relations bend into the direction of the exceptional, and the anomalous.

Scholars are encouraged to propose their own projects integration framework, and apply to the Society to form a funded working group that can develop and implement the proposed integration framework - making further intellectual use of the outputs of AURA, extending knowledge one step beyond the typical research project management lifecycle.
